Mediocre-to-bad Ideas
I was talking with Harper http://www.nata2.org/ and when I realized that he too often is asked to refer reliable iPhone app developers or shops, that maybe someone should make an app that lists all of the app developers, complete with location pinpointing, availability, cost, etc. so that people in need of app development can just download the app instead of firing the chain reaction of referral request emails.
Then, to make things even worse, during afternoon coffee we realized that the paparazzi could really benefit from a celebrity awareness app. Since so many people have iPhones, they could just place a beacon for each sighting and the paparazzi would swarm like bees to to honey... wouldn't that just make the world a better place? Maybe the abundance of celebrity sightings and oversupply of media would dilute the whole scene... but then what would the world do without TMZ?
