Ben and I stopped by Huf today and got the hookup from Keith again, this time we grabbed a couple of decks and a pair of Thunder team series Huf trucks. Thanks Keith!

Stereo Skateboards, Baker @ Page

You can't help but notice the big blue house on the corner of Baker @ Page, just two blocks from our house, which is why I think it jumped out at me on the cover of the current Stereo Skateboards catalog.

It's undergoing what seems to be some foundation upgrades at the moment, noticeably missing part of its picket fence.

Herbs

I have started growing basil and cilantro at home for the sole purpose of producing the freshest, most sustainable cocktail that I can make.

My Dopplr Annual Report

It's pretty fascinating and in some respects just random, but the info that Dopplr provided about my 2008 travels is fun to read either way.

NY summarized

Here's a quick glimpse into my NY trip last week. Most of the trip was spent in meetings, either in the office or in bars/restaurants around the lower east side. I hadn't realized that the new Shut shop/office was just around the corner from the CCNY office, so I stopped in to grab a deck since it was so close by.

Other than the back and forth to Brooklyn, I think the furthest north I made it this trip was Houston, which seems to be the norm for the past couple of years.

Anyway, the trip was fairly productive and uneventful, aside from the extreme cold and sporadic snow.
